Chemeketa Community College Library has participated in the joint purchase of electronic books from NetLibrary. The collection contains nearly 4,200 full-text electronic books, including reference, scholarly and professional books. The collection also includes almost 4,400 electronic books available in the public domain. These books are licensed for use by Chemeketa Community College students, faculty, and staff.
Any Internet computer in the Chemeketa Community College library can access NetLibrary books through the catalog or by going to the NetLibrary site. If using databases from off campus, you will need your My Chemeketa user name and password.
If you are using the library catalog from off campus and find a NetLibrary book, you will first have to create a NetLibrary account before viewing the NetLibrary book through the catalog. To create a NetLibrary account, go to the NetLibrary site, click on Create a Free Account in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Once you have created an account in NetLibrary, you can use that account to view NetLibrary books from the catalog.Host Provider students should call or e-mail the reference librarians (503-399-5231; reference@chemeketa.edu) for access information.
