• Description: EurekAlert! is devoted to reporting advances and new developments in science and technology, and is produced by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The site contains a set of press releases for the current week, and searchable archives of previous releases. The news releases, which come from news agencies and scientific organizations, are reviewed for inclusion by AAAS staff. There are also postings for recent books, grants, and awards. A small number of entries are restricted to use by registered journalistic users, but most are open to all visitors.
