The International Encyclopedia of Hospitality Management is published by Elsevier and is available in the Gale Virtual Reference Library. If you are accessing this resource from off campus you will need your My Chemeketa user name and six-digit password as a login.
Periodical databases let you find articles on a specific subject in magazines, newspapers, and trade journals.
To access databases such as the EBSCOhost databases listed below, go to Library's Online Databases - http://newterra.chemeketa.edu/library/information/database.htm. If using databases from off campus, you will need your My Chemeketa user name and password.
A guide to using the EBSCOhost databases may be found at http://newterra.chemeketa.edu/library/instruction/EBSCOhost.htm.
Additional databases are found on Chemeketa's databases page under Supplementary Online Databases - http://newterra.chemeketa.edu/library/information/supplement.htm.
Choose your database from the list according to the discipline covered by the periodical you are seeking. For example, if the area is hospitality and tourism you would select Business Source Premier. After entering the database, click the
Publications link.

If you live in Marion, Polk, or Yamhill Counties (Oregon), you can use the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library System. In addition to the books in the Chemeketa College Library, the catalog also contains the collections of the 17 public libraries located in the regional library district. You can return our books to any public library in the CCRLS system.
To check out books from a CCRLS library you need a Chemeketa student I.D. card or a CCRLS public library card. Please contact the Bookstore in Building 1 for a student I.D. card. Bring your new ID to the library, next door in Building 9, so that we can enter your barcode into the system. After that, you will be able to use your I.D. card as a library card.
If the book you want is at another library in the system, it can be sent to one convenient for you.

To search in all libraries in the system at the same time, make sure that you choose "All CCRLS libraries" from the menu of library names.
Instructions for using the catalog and for requesting material are to be found on the Chemeketa Community College Library catalog page.
Electronic books are available through to Chemeketa students through NetLibrary.
If the material you want is not in your local library, you can click the "Summit" button in the library catalog, or search Summit directly. You can request books through Summit and pick them up at any one of 35 libraries in Oregon and Washington. For more information on Summit borrowing, see Borrowing Materials from Member Libraries.
If you do not find what you need in Summit, ask your local librarian to request an interlibrary loan. That way the book you need can be sent from Chemeketa or another library for you to check out and use locally.

American Psychological Association. (2001). Publication manual of the
American Psychological Association (5th ed). Washington, D.C.:
Author.
Gibaldi, Joseph. MLA Handbook For Writers Of Research Papers. 6th ed.

A special guide for citing the electronic resources to which the library subscribes, including EBSCOhost and netLibrary, is the library's Citing Sources from Online Databases.
