Whether you're going to college for the first time or returning after years away, Chemeketa can help you reach your goals through small classes, affordable tuition and convenient class times and locations.

New student or first time in college
High school graduate (or graduating soon), completed GED or an adult with no prior college classes and planning to earn a college degree or certificate.

Personal enrichment or professional development
Taking classes to pursue a new interest or career/job development and not seeking a degree or certificate.

International student
Non-U.S. citizen or resident and attempting to obtain an F-1 Student Visa.

Former Chemeketa student
Returning to Chemeketa after an absence of a year or more.

Transfer student from another college or university
Attended another college and seeking a degree or certificate at Chemeketa.

Guest student
Currently attending another college and wishing to take select courses at Chemeketa to transfer back to the home institution.

GED or high school completion
Not a high school graduate and seeking to complete the GED or high school diploma.

Want to improve English skills
Seeking to take English as a Second Language classes for personal or professional development.

Still in high school
Currently attending high school and seeking to take Chemeketa college level classes to earn high school and/or college credit.

Enrolled students are eligible for a photo ID, which is required for some library services, gym, and computer lab use.

Enrollment Center

The Enrollment Center is located in Building 2, Room 200, on the Salem campus. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday, throughout the year, except during official college holidays.
